Fall is Ridgefield is jam-packed with colorful activities and family-friendly events - the Carnival that set up shop on the grounds of the Ridgefield Recreation Center is an example of that.
While Midway by Tufano Amusement Company packed up the games and rides yesterday, memories linger. "Pure Joy," remarks Stacey Barnard of the photo here that captures her daughters, Avery McGee and her sister Ellis McGee, having the time of their lives at the Carnival.
The fun-filled Carnival benefited the Ridgefield Prevention Council, an organization dedicated to educating youth and families about the dangers associated with drug and alcohol abuse and other issues such as bullying, depression, anxiety and other mental health issues.
