It's that time of year again - time to FALL BACK! Yup, you "gain" an hour of shut-eye on Saturday night, November 4, when you turn back the hands of time before hitting the hay.
Daylight Saving Time 2017 (note: it is Saving is singular) ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Local emergency officials also remind residents that while you are changing the clocks, it is also a good time to check the batteries in your home's smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms.
The idea of daylight saving was the brainchild of Benjamin Franklin, aka, the 'early to bed, early to rise' guy, back in 1784.
