Lillian Hellman Drama to Play at RHS in November

Ridgefield High School presents The Children’s Hour by Lillian Hellman in November

The Visual and Performing Arts Department of Ridgefield High School will present The Children’s Hour by Lillian Hellman on November 9-11 and 17-18, in the Anne S. Richardson Auditorium of Ridgefield High School, at 7:30 each evening.

In The Children’s Hour, a troubled teen at a girls’ boarding school tells a lie about her teachers without understanding the power of that lie to spread and ruin lives. A small New England community is shaken by what happens. Set in 1934, the play features a cast of 23 RHS performing arts students. The Children's Hour is a drama and contains mature themes.

The Children’s Hour will have six evening performances, November 9-11, and 17-18 at 7:30 p.m. The snow date is November 19 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students with school ID and for seniors age 60+. Ridgefield seniors who have a Gold Card may enjoy one show for free but must have the Gold Card with them for admission.

Tickets will be sold at the door. Online sales at http://www.rhsperformingarts.info/  RHS telephone: 203-894-5750.
