On the Children's Shelf: Book Gifting for the Holidays

For those still finishing up shopping (please don't feel bad, I'm no where near done, so there's no judgment here), consider giving a great book. My children helped compile this list and have books from some of the series listed on their holiday wish lists.

In no particular order (they are all great books/series):

"The School for Good and Evil" by Soman Chainani

"Keeper of the Lost Cities" by Shannon Messenger

"The Land of Stories" by Chris Colfer

"Stone Fox" by John Reynolds Gardiner

"Diary of a Wimpy Kid" by Jeff Kinney

"The Doll People" by Ann M. Martin

"Counting by 7s" by Holly Goldberg Sloan

"The Song From Somewhere Else" by A.F. Harold

"Wonder" by R.J. Palacio

"Harry Potter" by J.K. Rowling

"From The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankenweiler" E.L. Konigsburg

"The One and Only Ivan" by Katherine Applegate

"Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabstein

"The Boys in the Boat" (Young Readers Adaptation) by Daniel James Brown

"El Deafo" by CeCe Bell

"Roller Girl" by Victoria Jamieson

"Island of the Blue Dolphins" by Scott O'Dell

"Flora & Ulysses" by Kate DiCamillo

If you have any great suggestions for books for presents, please send them...I'm always looking for more great recommendations!
