Baby It's Cold Outside: Ridgefield Little League Is Heating Things Up!

The weather outside may say winter, but Ridgefield Little League is already looking ahead to spring as it kicks off what is sure to be a great 2018.

REGISTRATION: Registration for the Spring Season is now open, with those who sign-up by February 10th receiving a $25 discount.

WINTER DEVELOPMENT: For those kids who can’t wait until the snow melts to start play, RLL is partnering with Coastal Connecticut Athletics to offer our youngest ballplayers (ages 5-8) a new Winter Development Baseball training program.  We will be offering 3 separate age-based workout sessions every Saturday beginning on January 20th and running 10 weeks through Saturday, March 24th.

NEW FIELD UPDATE: Progress also continues on the Campaign for Tomorrow’s Players, the league’s community fundraising campaign with proceeds going to the creation and maintenance of a new lighted field being built on Route 7.  The league has received a tremendous amount of community support so far.  There are still many ways for individual and corporate sponsors to be involved through gifts and sponsorship of all sizes, including works-in-kind. In addition, bricks for display at the new field are still available for purchase.

SAVE THE DATE: As part of the Campaign for Tomorrow’s Players, the league will be hosting a fundraiser on Thursday January 25th at 850 Degrees Wood Fired Pizza, with a portion of sales of all dine-in or take-out (203-894-5395) orders from 530p-930p going towards the campaign.

Other events are in the works and we hope you’ll join us for the many exciting days and nights that lie ahead this year (and play hasn’t even started yet)!
