Oh, what a year! Together we’ve journeyed through 2018!
Joyful anticipation of what’s to come, appreciation what was, mixed with good-riddance (for good measure), join forces as 2018 comes to a close. New Year’s Eve is a time of celebration and reflection.
2018 was truly an amazing year for the arts in Ridgefield. ACT of Connecticut’s Broadway performances dazzled and delighted, RIFF brought talented filmmakers to Town, and Jazz, Funk, and Blues Weekend made its debut.
We found joy in bringing you the accomplishments of our residents, introducing community events and celebrations, and telling local nonprofit stories of healing and hope. Some businesses closed their doors, and some new ones opened. There were beloved residents we lost.
Together, we got through it all - the hills and valleys in the Ridge. Thank you for reading, commenting, submitting stories (and trusting us to tell them).
So, here they are, the 15 greatest hits (in order). These stories were read more than any others in 2018.
