Rosemarie L. Hecht
Hecht, Rosemarie L. (nee Longworth) passed away on July 20, 2014. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a graduate of St. Mary's Nursing School. She worked professionally as a Registered Nurse for many years and was honored to have met Sister Teresa while working as a nurse at Sing Sing Prison.
She is survived by her husband Franklin, their four children Richard, Patricia, William and Robert, their daughters-in-law Beth, Barbara and Suzanne, their six grandchildren Elizabeth, Liam, Sara, Brian, Alexandra and Caroline, of whom she was very proud. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Alto and her husband Joseph and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Gregory Longworth and his wife Jeanne. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. An animal lover, she is also survived by her "granddogs" Oujia, Rooney and Zuzu.
