The brainchild of our HamletHub New Canaan editor, New Canaan Taste Tours are a series of special evenings, which allow you to dine at four exclusive venues in one night, savoring a different course in each. An easy, self-guided tour with thirty minutes in each of the featured restaurants and only seven minutes walking in total! Arrive hungry!
For the month of August we have decided to limit it to a 6:30pm tour start, which will allow up to twelve diners slightly longer in each location. The feedback from Taste Tour guests has been fantastic, saying that it is a fun evening, eating fantastic food and experiencing very different restaurant styles and cuisines.
The Elm Street Taste Tour runs every Tuesday and Wednesday (until Wednesday, August 27th) Some of the dishes may include:
• Elm Restaurant, 73 Elm St – Summer snacks & bites
• Chef Luis, 129 Elm St - Shrimp sausage Jambalaya with Chef Luis twist
• South End, 36 Pine St, – Dark Rum Canelés with a Rum and Raisin Ice-cream
The $65.00 price includes all the above food (or similar), tax and gratuity. Beverages are extra and may be purchased at each location, please don't forget to leave a tip for these!
