Heart of Women Award Nominations Sought

The Women's Business Council, part of the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce, is accepting nominations for its 4th Annual Heart of Women Award. This inspirational award recognizes women who have made a difference and have positively impacted the lives of others.

"There are so many deserving women from all walks of life in the Greater Danbury region, we always have a difficult time selecting the recipient," said JoAnn Cueva, Director of the Women's Business Council.  "These are women who selflessly give of themselves for the betterment of others; this is our opportunity to recognize and thank them for what they do."

Past Award recipients have included Jane Martellino, Founder & President of Yes! Grace Rocks, LouAnn Bloomer, Founder/CEO & President of TBICO, Marie Hatcher, Founder of Matthew's Hearts of Hope and Wilda Hayes, retired President & CEO of Ann's Place. In 2013, special recognition went to Pat Llodra and Janet Robinson.
