Movie Star & Ridgefielder Robert Vaughn to Star in CT Based Film

Gold Star filming in Orange, CT

From September 15th to October 4th, an independent film titled Gold Star will be filmed in and around Orange, CT. A campaign on the investment website Kickstarter helped to fund the film.

The powerful story centers around the real-life relationship between the writer, director and star of the film Victoria Negri and her father Carmine.

According to IMDb Vicki, a music school drop out, boards a train from NYC to CT to care for her dying father. What she learns through this experience is both powerful and life-changing.

Legendary actor and Ridgefield resident Robert Vaughn will play the role of Carmine.

Today, I spoke briefly with Robert about the film. "I'm looking forward to shooting and intensely preparing for this part," said Vaughn.
