Vernard J. Gaudet
Vernard J. Gaudet, 88, of Ridgefield, died on Tuesday evening, September 17, 2014 at Danbury Hospital. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Fay (Scovil) Gaudet ; four sons, Vernard D, Gaudet and his wife, Deborah, Mark A. Gaudet and his wife, Theresa, Robert J. Gaudet and his wife, Miah and Michael A. Gaudet and his wife, Patti; grandchildren, Vern and his wife, Erin, Dan and his wife, Jayne, Adam and his wife, Michelle, Ashlee, Scott, Alan, Matthew, Nicholas and Kyle and great grandchildren, Emma, Paige and Luci. Predeceased in addition to his parents, three siblings, Royce, Joseph and Joan.
Memorial Services with military honors will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the First Congregational Church of Bethel, 46 Main St., Bethel, CT with the Rev. Laura Westby officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. Contributions to the First Congregational Church of Bethel or to the American Lung Association, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108 would be appreciated. Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield is in charge of arrangements.
