Ridgefield Education Foundation features Tutoring Club as "Merchant of the Month"

The Ridgefield Education Foundation (REF) continues its' “Merchant of the Month” program to promote local business.  The Tutoring Club will be the featured business for October.

The Merchant of the Month program is about "celebrating and supporting Ridgefield as a whole.  Our local businesses and our schools are two gems that make Ridgefield special.  Now you can shop local and support REF all at once", says Avery Costigan, REF President.

Maria Markus, owner of the Tutoring Club agrees. "We are so proud to support REF. Most of the families move to Ridgefield because of the great education our town provides. REF is now becoming an integral part of Ridgefield's education system and by supporting REF we are supporting our schools, our students and the future of our town."

The Tutoring Club is celebrating their 10th year anniversary this month!  They offer individualized instruction for students of all academic levels from kindergarten thru 12th grade.  Students work with tutors in all subjects, from math, reading and writing to study skills, almost all high school subjects, and preparation to SAT and ACT.  A percentage of your enrollment will be donated to the community organization, as long as you mention "REF".

The Tutoring Club is located at 431 Main Street and can be reached at 203-438-1128

The Ridgefield Education Foundation looks to support initiatives that focus on 21st century learning.  By serving as a catalyst for innovative programs, leveraging the use of technology and enhancing the resources available to educators, REF hopes to help move education forward. The foundation is a community based 501c3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are considered tax deductible.  If you are a business interested in participating in our programs, please contact us at:  info@ridgefieldeducationfoundation.org.  The foundation always welcomes new team members!  For more information visit www.ridgefieldeducationfoundation.org
