We spoke with First Selectman Rudy Marconi today regarding the severe winter storm predicted to arrive in our area tomorrow afternoon.
"We met today and preparations have begun," said Marconi. Preparations include topping off all generators with fuel, speaking with CL&P regarding line and tree crew, and securing a the town emergency shelter. "It may be open tomorrow night depending on power outages," said Marconi.
Marconi will meet with town officials and the emergency response team again tomorrow.
We will continue to update residents throughout the snowstorm.
