Martha Talburt is known throughout Ridgefield (and in well beyond its borders) as a talented artist who exudes positive energy and charisma.
A celebrated teacher from Stratford CT, Talburt has taught at Founder's Hall for eight years, and received the Western Connecticut University's Mentor of the Year Award in 2011 for her innovative approach to teaching art.

Talburt discovered her love of teaching art in 1999 when she joined the senior Peace Corps in Macedonia and went on to train for several years at The Art Students League in New York City.
