Wooster School Girls Basketball Team Selected To Prestigious New England Tournament

 

In addition to winning their fourth consecutive HVAL Tournament Championship,Wooster School’s Varsity Girls Basketball team has been selected to compete in the prestigious New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Tournament. Wooster is the #1 seed and has a bye into the semi-final round. The Generals will host the winner of the quarterfinal game between #4 seeded Providence Country Day School and #5 seeded Marvelwood School on Saturday, March 7 at 12:00 pm in the Forever Young Gymnasium. The winner will advance to the championships to be held on Sunday, March 8, at 10:30 am at Loomis Chaffee.

Tournament seedings are as follows:

#1 – Wooster School

#2 – Covenant Christian Academy

#3 – Poughkeepsie Day School

#4 – Providence Country Day School

#5 – Marvelwood School

NEPSAC was established in 1942 as an organization of athletic directors from accredited New England independent schools.
