NCL, Ridgefield Chapter Class of 2016 members were fortunate to visit and tour the University of Connecticut, Storrs campus recently. 13 Ridgefield High School juniors were warmly welcomed by NCL Ridgefield alum Becky Welch, who answered questions and offered a glimpse of the college experience over lunch. Next, the ladies participated in an extensive Q&A session hosted by three students.
The trip was completed with a tour of the campus, including the athletic facilities, student center, main theater, a STEM building and a residence hall. The experience provided clarity on many college-related topics and was an informative and enjoyable day of exploration for all.
