On Saturday, August 1, the Annual Southwest Cafe Margarita 5K will take place in the heart of Ridgefield. More than a run, this event is A PARTY! The Margarita 5K is a charity sunset run with a margarita at the finish line. The run kicks off at 7pm and benefits Ridgefield Sunrise Cottage.
Volunteers are needed to work the race course giving directions or providing water to runners.
Volunteers are asked to arrive at Southwest Cafe (109 Danbury Road) between 6 and 6:15 pm and their shift will end by 8:00 pm.
It's a fun run and you would be volunteering among some amazing community members.
AND, volunteers aged 21 and older will be treated to a cold margarita, free of charge!
