Biathlon in South Salem on Labor Day!

5th Annual South Salem Church Tavern Biathlon is on Labor Day, Monday, September 7!

St. John's Episcopal Parish is proud to bring you the 5th Annual South Salem Church Tavern Biathlon. The majority of the funds profits from the race will go to same worthy charities we continue to support (The Carpenter's Kids ProgramCommunity Center of Northern Westchester, and The Wounded Warrior Project).

The race will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday September 7th, 2015 at St. John's Episcopal Church. We are located at 82 Spring Street in South Salem just off Route 35.

The race consists of short dash to your bikes in the transition area (dirt parking lot across from the church) for a 7 mile bike ride through hilly and scenic secondary roads.  Highlights include a beautiful view of Lewisboro from the top of "Mount" Church Tavern and a tour past beautiful Lake Truesdale.

The Bike Course Map is located here: 7 mile bike

The Run Course Map is located here: 4 mile run

You may participate individually for $35 or as a two person relay team for $50.

If you're still not feeling up to running and biking the whole course, we have a Run or Walk Only division for $20.  The Run/Walk participants will be timed this year and will leave soon after the Biathlon start.  You still get a medal, free BBQ, and the satisfaction of knowing you helped three great charities.

In addition, there will be a water slide for the kids.  And Quadrasaurus is back playing Live!

Same day registration will be $40 per individual, $60 per relay team and $20 for walkers.  So register online soon.

While we expect some lively competition from those defending their tankard titles, this is not a USAT event.  It is a fun-first, small town, 'grass roots' race.  Please consider joining us this Labor Day..
