Redding Resident Jessica Ewud Wins CT 40 Under 40 Award

Jessica Ewud, a resident of Redding for over 15 years, recently won CT Magazine's Annual 40 Under 40 Award. This award recognizes young entrepreneurs as well successful people in business, arts, and culture that are making a big impact in the CT community.

Ewud was nominated due to her outstanding performance in aiding military veterans. She is a founding member and the Executive Director of the Save-A-Suit organization, a nonprofit based in Fairfield County. This nonprofit provides suits and business wear to both job seeking veterans and college graduates.

Save-A-Suit has served over 2,500 veterans and students since inception in 2011. Just recently, in November of 2015, the organization handed out over $10,000 worth of free business clothing to over 100 veterans at the VetsRock Event at Mohegan Sun. "I am truly honored and humbled to win this award, especially knowing there are so many deserving candidates." Ewud said.

Jessica Ewud has been a guest speaker on FOX, CBS, NBC, and Channel 12. In addition to her outstanding accomplishments in the CT charitable sector, Ewud is also an artist and was featured in the popular clothing retailer, Lucky Brand in 2014.
