Ridgefield resident Stephanie Zeyer passes away at 101

Stephanie Zeyer, 101, passed away on April 29, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, John. They were married for 60 years.

Stephanie was born in Manhattan, New York City on June 14, 1914. She retired as a Rent Examiner from the New York City Rent Control Board. She moved to Ridgefield 28 years ago and loved the town. She also wintered in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

What touched people was her remarkable sense of humor. She was fun to be with; full of love and laughter. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm and love of life; she treated everyday as if it was a special gift.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen and her husband, Bob DiNucci of Ridgefield; grandsons, Bob DiNucci and his wife, Veronica (Ronnie) of Ridgefield; Stephen DiNucci and his wife, Liz of Holmes, NY and John DiNucci and his wife, Annalisa of Stamford.

She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Alison, Christopher, Matthew, Alexandra, Kristen, Marcus, Madeline, Casey and Caitlin and by her great great grandchildren, Jaiden, Arabella, Levi, Wyatt, Keira and Henry. In addition to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, Stephanie is survived by a sister, Jean Corrigan of Georgetown, Washington DC.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 10:15 AM at St. Mary Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield. There will be no calling hours. Kane Funeral Home, Ridgefield is in charge of arrangements.
