Ridgefield High School Intern Joins Dr. Langberg & Team

Dr. Langberg’s Office Welcomes RHS Intern

RHS 2016 grad Luisa Saad is currently interning at Dr. Blaine Langberg’s orthodontic office in Ridgefield. Luisa will attend Stetson University in Florida in the fall, where she plans to study biology. She hopes to continue on to medical school with the long-term goal of becoming a physician. “I’m excited to work at Dr. Langberg’s office, so that I can learn more about how a private medical office is run,” says Luisa. “It will be great to get some real-life experience working in a medical environment.”
Dr. Langberg and his team are thrilled to have Luisa on board for the next few weeks, and have been busy teaching her more about the day-to-day operations of a medical office.

Luisa has been in Ridgefield just a short time. She was raised in Brazil, moving to Shanghai, China when she was 14. While there she attended an international school and studied Chinese. After two years, her family moved to Singapore for a year before relocating to Ridgefield last fall.

During high school Luisa played volleyball, danced, and enjoyed doing volunteer work with children. Earlier this year she took an EMT class in Danbury, and she will soon be taking the EMT exam to become national certified. She plans to work as an EMT during college. Luisa loves to travel, and is looking forward to returning to Brazil this summer for a family vacation.
