Ridgefield Police Hold Memorial at The Lounsbury House

Every Memorial Day, proud Americans commemorate those men and women who have served our country. However, people can often forget that it is not just for those who have fought in combat overseas, but also for those people on the front lines right here at home.

Yesterday, Ridgefield Police gathered together in front of the Lounsbury House to remember their own.

Members of the community, together with local government officials and clergy stood in solidarity with Ridgefield's finest, remembering and speaking about fallen police officers of our own Department.

Leading those in attendance in prayer and remembrance were Rabbi Jon Haddon and Pastor Bill Pfohl, along with First Selectman Rudy Marconi, Police Commissioner Geoge Kain, and Chief John Roche.

Thank you to the Ridgefield Police for all you to to keep our community safe.
