Joyce Ligi has made Ridgefield a better place

Joyce Ligi, longtime resident who graduated of Ridgefield High School and spent her working career in banking, always finding time to go the extra mile for businesses, residents, and nonprofits in Ridgefield, has been named Rotary Club of Ridgefield “Citizen of the Year”.

“I’m pleased, and proud, and deeply touched,” Ligi told more than one hundred community members who flocked to The Stonehenge in on a beautiful summer night to show their support and appreciation for all that this incredible citizen has done for Ridgefield and the residents who reside here.

“When you want something done well, and in an orderly fashion, you call Joyce,” said longtime resident and Lion’s Club member, Mike Liberta.
