Victoria de Melo Paz, 88, long time resident of Astoria, NY and recent resident of Ridgefield, wife of the late Mario de Melo Paz, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center in Ridgefield, CT. Mrs. de Melo Paz was born in Manhattan, NY on May 31, 1928 to Mary Spanos and Vincent Cirillo.
A widow of 42 years, Mrs. de Melo Paz dedicated her life to her only child, also named Victoria. She adored her husband's family and spent many summers in his country, Portugal. She was a devout Christian who lived her life with faith and love. Mrs. de Melo Paz is survived by her daughter Victoria, her husband Evangelos and two grandchildren Eleni and Maria of Ridgefield, CT.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 on Monday, June 27th at the Church of the Archangels Greek Orthodox Church in Stamford, CT.
