Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (RCD) students were recently inducted into the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA). RCD is a registered chapter sponsor of NHSDA, an organization that operates under the National Dance Education Organization.
And these high achieving dancers bring their passion for excellence into all aspects of life - including their academics. "RCD dancers go on to rigorous [college] programs. We currently have alumni in attendance in elite college dance programs including SUNY Purchase, Marymount Manhattan College, Boston Conservatory, and Ailey/Fordham," expains Amy Piantaggini, RCD Artistic Director.
"I feel that a distinguishing trait of RCD is our alignment with dance in higher education," adds Piantaggini.
The Ridgefield Conservatory is located at 440 Main Street.
