Ridgefield Resident, Andrew Kelemen, 53, Passes Away

Andrew D. Kelemen, 53, of Ridgefield, husband of Laura (Anthony) Kelemen and father of Matthew, Adam, and Anna, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016. Andy was born on August 1, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY. He grew up in Norman, Oklahoma where he graduated from Norman High School and went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma. A resident of Ridgefield since 1986, Andy was a member of St. Mary Parish.

Andy’s devotion to his family was beyond measure. His wife and children especially meant the world to him and were his number one priority. Andy will always be remembered for being a loving husband, an incredible father, and an integral part of a large, close-knit family. He was a true friend, an accomplished businessman, and was loved and respected by all who knew him. Andy spent many years coaching baseball and basketball, as well as being a proud volunteer and board member for Ridgefield Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball.

In addition to his wife and three children, he is survived by his brother Drew and Mary Jane (Bossidy) Kelemen, mother Elaine (Pierandri) Kelemen, his father Donald and Bonita Kelemen, mother and father in-law Dr. J. Robert Anthony and Ada Anthony, grandmother Delphine Pierandri, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, and brother in-laws. Private services were held at St. Mary Parish (Ridgefield, CT).
