The children of St. Stephen’s Nursery School were amazed when they came back to school this September to find that their sunflower seeds has had blossomed into GIANT sunflowers plants!
"The children planted the seeds in May, and watered and cared for them," explains school Director, Noelle Carr.
Now the students are having fun measuring what is taller – the sunflower or their class? What about their teachers?
"So far we have not found anything bigger than the GIANT sunflowers!" says Carr.
St. Stephen's Nursery School is located at 351 Main Street in Ridgefield.
