Ridgefield Police & RHS Students Serve Locals in Need

As part of Sprit Week, the students at Ridgefield High School are invited to engage in a fundraising competition.

The challenge is to fill two Ridgefield Police Department Humvees with non-perishable goods. All items collected are donated to Dorothy Day Hospitality House and the Ridgefield Food Bank.

Shown in the photo is School Resource Officer Daly (L) and School Resource Officer Luis (R) who brought the Humvees to Ridgefield High School yesterday and assisted students with the food drive.

Ridgefield Police report that over 3,600 canned goods were collected.

Thank you to the Ridgefield High School students and to the Department for serving locals in need.
