CT Women's Hall of Fame inspires local NCL chapters

On October 17th, the Ridgefield and Nutmeg chapters of the National Charity League, Inc., held a combined meeting for their mother and daughter members.

The two groups, made up of 7th-12th grade girls and their mothers are committed to assisting multiple philanthropies in our community while spending quality time with each other.  Guest speaker Kathryn Gloor from The Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame gave an inspiring and informative presentation educating the group on their mission.  The four core principles are to Honor publicly the achievements of Connecticut women, to Preserve their stories, to Educate the public, and to Inspire the continued achievements of women and girls.

The Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame highlights many women from Connecticut who pioneered various paths, making a difference for all women and girls.  For more information or to visit the virtual Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame, go to www.cwhf.org.
