The Ridgefield Library seeks an enthusiastic Children’s Librarian to be part of a busy and responsive Children’s Services team serving a suburban town of 25,000 with strong focus on children and families.
Duties include reference and readers advisory service to parents and children birth – grade 5; collection development; some programming responsibilities.
Successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, experience with and enthusiasm for STEAM/Maker activities, and familiarity with literature for elementary school children.
MLS or near completion of an accredited program required; public library experience preferred.
Salary range $49,140 - $59,000 depending on experience.
