Congratulations to Allison Stockel: Connecticut's 2017 Arts Hero!

Connecticut Office of the Arts and the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut have selected Ridgefield Playhouse Executive Director, Allison Stockel as a 2017 Arts Hero!

Allison will be acknowledged for this honor at the Connecticut Arts Day on Thursday, March 2. The event will take place at the State Capitol in Hartford. 

Connecticut Arts Day is a day to celebrate and to learn about the successes and aspirations of the arts and cultural sector in Connecticut.

Offering remarks and words of congratulations at the event will be Connecticut government officials including Governor Dannel P. Malloy and House Majority Leader Representative Matt Ritter, as well as many of Connecticut's leaders in the arts.

Arts Day includes networking opportunities and a selection of workshops, performances, and interactive opportunities to share your Connecticut art stories, according to Connecticut Department of Arts & Tourism.
