Ridgefield High School Students Not Pleased with New Cafeteria Chef

Ridgefield High School has a new chef and some students are not pleased with his performance. Not only are they complaining about the quality of the food, but they state that Chef Matt Macpartland isn’t serving with a smile.

One student wrote on Facebook, “Matt Macpartland, has made some serious negative changes to the school cafeteria this school year. Today he served us three day old pasta, and the cost of the food is more expensive than ever. We can't even get an apple with our meal without paying extra anymore.”

A Change.org petition titled Get Chef Matt Out of Here was started by student, Jim Green just 6 hours ago and currently has 129 signatures.

The verbiage on the petition reads:

Too long has Chef Matt poisoned the atmosphere of our lunchroom. He doesn't treat the people very friendly. Matt is always snappy, and doesn't know how to run the cafeteria.

A post on the Ridgefield CT Facebook Page has generated a lot of buzz with many students expressing their displeasure with the cafeteria food and Chef Matt.
