Scarsdale Middle School had their final Service Learning trip to The Prospector Theater today!
"They made video Public Service Announcements about the Prospector and fundraised for our mission of meaningful employment," The Prospector Theater explains.
Service learning helps students, educators, and staff reimagine the possibilities of people with disabilities."This allows for the curriculum to be embedded in serving others," said middle school social studies teacher, Meghan Troy.
"In my [16 years] of teaching this has single highhandedly been the most rewarding experience in my career," proclaimed Troy.
