Ridgefield Scouts Dedicate Day of Service to Eagle Scout, Ryan Adams

Local Scouts, including Troop 116, will participate in Rid Litter Days in Ridgefield this Saturday, April 22.

Each year the Boy Scout troops help give downtown Ridgefield a facelift and clean up from winter by raking the leaves, mulching the beds and picking up debris. This year, Troop 116 will be rolling up their sleeves in honor of one of their own.

Troop 116 explains, "This year the day is dedicated in remembrance of Eagle Scout Ryan Adams, who tragically passed away last year. Ryan was an Eagle Scout who was a member of Troop 116 and then Troop 76. The day will be a day of service in Ryan's honor. There will be a dedication ceremony at Town Hall at 8:15 am. All are welcome and encouraged to attend."
