Ridgefield Economic and Community Development Commission announces appointments of Karen Sulzinsky & Stephany Sanderson

The Ridgefield Economic and Community Development Commission (ECDC)is pleased to announce that the Board of Selectmen have approved the appointments of Karen Sulzinsky and Stephany Sanderson effective immediately.

Karen and her husband Jack own a Ridgefield based business Underground Productions. Their company is a full service video production company with a client list that includes the Today Show, the Food Network and L’Oreal. KAren has also been a dedicated volunteer and is a former member of the Board of Education. She is a member of Temple Shearith Israel’s Board of Directors, the Ridgefield Democratic Town Committee and is an alumni interviewer for her alma mater - Princeton University.

Stephany is a Ridgefield native and a mother of three young children. She brings extensive retail experience to the commission. She studied Retail Management and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology and held various positions as a manager of three specialty stores and as a manager with Lord & Taylor. She is currently an independent consultant for Worth New York. She is also an active volunteer with The Fresh Air Fund and Kids in Crisis.

ECDC Chair Arnold Light commented, “In 2016 the ECDC, with new membership was able to redefine its mission to best indentify ways to grow businesses and to serve our community. We developed a new website www.ridgefieldeconomic.com which is designed to not only serve businesses but as the information destination for visitors and all members of our community. With the addition of Karen and Stephany the seven member commission now has a very diverse membership with the background and skills necessary to further serve our community.”
