Congratulations to the Junior Police Academy (JPA) Graduates!
The JPA is a week long program in which kids ages 8-15 come and learn about what our officers do. Some of the topics covered include- crime scene investigation, accident reconstruction, laser/radar, Police K-9 and much much more. This is our 14th year holding this program in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield.
The JPA was started by Lt. Shawn Platt when he was the department's Detective Youth Officer. Thank you for spending the week with us and enjoy the rest of your summer.
