St Stephen’s HOPE ‘17 Crew: Setting Out to Do Good Work in Maryland

The HOPE ‘17 Crew left the Main Street campus of St Stephen’s Church early Sunday, heading to Frederick, Maryland for a week of service in that community.

This year’s HOPE Crew is a group of fourteen Ridgefielders -- high school students and college freshmen -- half who are returning for their second or third year of HOPE service.

The students, with their three St. Stephen’s leaders, will  join six-person home repair work teams, organized from more than 400 participating students from across the United States.

“St. Stephen’s is thrilled to sponsor this group of Ridgefield teens to go out with a mission and do good work in their world,” says Reverend Whitney Altopp.  “We can’t wait to hear about their experiences when they return next weekend.”
