Many of you know that Almost Home Childcare in Ridgefield closed mid-August after a small fire broke out and the sprinkler system caused extensive water damage. Restoration is currently taking place and the Directors, Fran Kelley and Bunny Kolf, are working tirelessly to get Almost Home up and running.
Here's where our readers can help: due to the damage, toys, furniture, and supplies were ruined and will need to be replaced. If there is anyone who would like to donate toys/supplies please email Kira Rosencrans kirarosencrans@gmail.com to arrange for items to be picked up.
Almost Home caters to infants through school age children, so anything fitting that age range would be greatly appreciated!
