Prospector Theater welcomes four-legged service dogs for tour and tutelage

"Match made in Heaven!" said Amy Ciota, sister of Val Jensen and Prospector volunteer.

Today, Ridgefield's Prospector Theater opened their doors to four-legged guests.

Prospects gave Guiding Eyes for the Blind board members a tour of the theater so new handlers and service dogs could get accustomed to navigating the theater and sitting through a movie.

"Yes, you can be blind and go to the Prospector Theater and enjoy a show and yourself," said Ciota, who added, "Members of Guiding Eyes frequently attend showings," she added.

The Prospector Theater is located at 25 Prospect Street in Ridgefield. Learn more about this nonprofit movie theater, purchase tickets and learn about their amazing mission here.
