Opening the doors to Underground Co.

Underground Co. - Destination for distinctive clothing and vintage furnishings to open in Ridgefield in the Marketplace at Copps Hill spring 2018 Underground Co.’s mission is to offer unique and distinctive apparel and furnishings that are stylish, inventive, and unexpected, empowering women to create and embrace their personal style in their closets and in their homes.

A veteran of the Ridgefield retail scene. Maureen Rivard blends the offerings of her two previous Main Street shops “M. Rivard Vintage Home” and “French Market” in a new upscale location in the heart of Ridgefield’s Marketplace at Copps Hill.  Underground Co. will be centrally located between the Southwest Café and 109 Wine and Cheese shop and will add a shopping experience for unique women’s clothing and home accents.

After closing French Market in 2008, Rivard leveraged her unique interior design skills to found a business specializing in renovation and new construction design, working with clients and builders to create clean modern spaces.

Her work has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, Good Housekeeping, Flea Market Style Magazine, and Ridgefield Magazine.
