The RSO "Goes to School" in Ridgefield next week!

Ridgefield school students will  bedazzled and inspired by the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra (RSO) when they return from spring break next week.

The support of the Ridgefield school PTA's and the RSO have made it possible to bring a series of musicianship workshops, featuring the talents of the RSO, to some of Ridgefield's 4th grade students during the month of April.

The musical program titled "The RSO Goes to School", gives students the opportunity to be educated on a wide variety of orchestral instruments at the very age the public schools introduce the ensemble music programs. "The RSO Goes to School" is a two-part program that includes classroom visits followed by school-wide concerts which take place in May.

Participating schools this year are: Branchville, Scotland, Farmingville, Veterans Park and St. Mary School.
