The Aldrich will Offer Family Art Experiences Today!

Saturday is a Family Day at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum!

Third Saturdays: Family Art Experiences on Saturday, April 19, will take inspiration from the work of exhibiting artist Jessica Jackson Hutchins to make large-scale monotypes. Participants will sculpt a relief using a variety of unexpected tools and materials to create a unique plate, then will learn basic techniques to print from the textured surface, designing a one-of-a-kind monotype.

There will be two age-appropriate sessions: from 10 am to 12 noon for children aged two to five; from 1 to 3 pm for children aged six to ten. Siblings and friends of all ages are welcome to participate, but all children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

These programs are free for members and children 18 and under; free with the price of admission for non-member adults.
