We spoke with the owner of Pure Bar today, an organic fruit and veggie bar that will be opening at 426 Main Street. The office space will soon be converted into an eatery and juice bar. "There will be a bar and a sitting area," said owner Ben Barel, who added,"We should be opening at the beginning of August."
Berel, who traveled the world before settling in Danbury, said the urge to open a juice bar was born of his frustration that this type of establishment did not exist in the United States. "I was really bummed out about it - and people really care about being healthy," said Berel, who plans on offering early morning commuters "grab and go" juices for a healthy and convenient breakfast.
Berel is committed to living healthy and wants to share his passion with the Ridgefield community. He says that Pure Bar will also sell fresh salads.
