Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance & The Aldrich - Perfect Together on August 10

Enjoy an innovative interpretation of the 50th Anniversary exhibitions through movement and rhythm choreographed by the students of the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance on Sunday, August 10 from 3 to 5pm at The Aldrich.

Dancers will be responding directly to the work of Robert Rauschenberg and Robert Morris, two key figures in the history of modern art. Rauschenberg was deeply involved with the world of dance, developing visually stimulating theater sets and lighting, bringing his innovative approach to visual arts onto the stage from the early 1960s through the 1980s.

Morris engaged with dance through choreography and performance art, inspired by his wife, the dancer and choreographer Simone Forti, intertwining movement and his iconic minimalist sculptures.
