This summer, many locals enjoyed swimming and frolicking in Ridgefield's natural, and spring fed lake. But, what lies beneath Great Pond?
Yesterday, Captain Denis, the founder of Squalus Marine Divers decided to find out.
Denis, who launched his diving company in 2012 as a way to promote scuba diving while integrating a message of conservation, education and stewardship of the sea, said, “It was great to check out the freshwater fish”. Among the freshwater aquatic creatures Denis sets his eyes on were large mouth Bass, Sunnies, Blue Gills and eels. “It was a fun little dive,” remarked Denis.
