Ridgefield Folk presents Cantrip on Sunday

On Sunday, September 7, at 2 p.m., in the Main Program Room of the Ridgefield Library presents Scottish trio, Cantrip, as part of their Ridgefield Folk series.

Cantrip is Dan Houghton on bagpipes, flute, whistles, guitar, bouzouki and vocals, Jon Bews on fiddle and vocals, and Eric Mcdonald on guitar, mandolin, bouzouki and vocals. Originally formed as a quartet, Cantrip sprung from a local session in Edinburgh fourteen years ago. With their first album Silver (2001) in hand, Cantrip made its way across the water to the United States, where they were received with roars and shouts (of enjoyment).

Free tickets are available at the Library beginning at 1 p.m. on the day of the show.

Ridgefield Folk is made possible by the Friends of the Ridgefield Library.
