Wooster School Partners with Yale University Researchers

In early October Wooster School will be partnering with Yale University’s Cognition & Development Lab in an ongoing research study about children’s cognitive processes.

Yale University’s Cognition & Development Lab investigates such topics as how children understand cause-and-effect relationships and learn to “think like scientists.” Wooster School’s Lower School students will be participating in this research.

This is a tremendous opportunity for Wooster students to contribute to building an understanding of how students learn. With the cooperation of Dr. Stephanie Bell, Head of Lower School, and the teachers at Wooster, students who participate in the research will be contributing to the overall educational value of discovering new details about children's developing cognitive processes.

“Wooster Lower School is delighted to partner with Yale researchers to bring greater understanding to the science of education,” remarked Dr. Bell.

Wooster School is proud to partner with Yale University’s Cognition & Development Lab on this exciting project.
