JOB DESCRIPTION: MARKETING AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELLNESS
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELLNESS
JOB SUMMARY: The position is responsible for the overall communication and marketing activities of the agency, educating potential clients, volunteers, and referral sources about RVNA’s programs and services lines through traditional marketing, public relations, print and on line advertising, and programs, trainings, and events.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong Sales and Marketing background with demonstrated knowledge and success in both. Experience in health care, communication and or marketing required. Relevant College Degree preferred.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing and interpersonal skills needed to understand marketing opportunities throughout the agency and relay them to the communities we serve. Good public presentation skills.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision getting results in a fast paced environment.
Must be market savvy in order to recognize and research marketing opportunities for the agency. Ability to compile and analyze data.
Ability and willingness to follow agency policies and procedures, work as a team member supporting agency programs and services, and represent RVNA in a positive professional manner.
Reliable transportation and ability to drive in all weather conditions.
Able to meet Employee Work Simulation Evaluation
