Looking more like a delightful community gathering spot than a doctor’s office, the Orthodontic Office of Dr. Blaine Langberg has expanded and unveiled a classy new look.
Langberg faced a problem business owner’s dream of - his orthodontic practice was booming and he outgrew his space. “After school, people were standing,” he admits. “We wanted people to be comfortable.”
And comfortable they are. With an “Internet Cafe”, semi-private sitting areas, play area for kids, and a “free-play” game room, who would want to leave? “You can’t have a business if you don’t make it convenient for the public,” says Langberg.
Decorated by Langberg’s wife Rachel and interior designer Eileen Segalman, the soft blue and brown tones combined with pale greens gives the spacious office a cool vibe and modern flare. “The office is reflective of the work we do,” says Langberg, who adds, “We like to have fun here.”
While parents and family members are enjoying themselves in a fun, friendly and high-tech waiting area, patients are being treated by a talented orthodontist who cares deeply about each and every one of them. “I spend a lot of time on each case,” says the Harvard grad.
Incentivizing patients to take care of their braces and practice proper dental hygiene by using a reward system is just one of the ways Dr. Langberg makes wearing braces a bit more fun. “We recently installed a new prize cabinet,” says Langberg, who purchases the gifts from local merchants. “We will have a Prospector Theater prize pack,” he says.
When he's not straightening teeth, Langberg is father to three adorable girls, husband to Rachel, and active community member. This proud Ridgefield resident remarks, “I’m the only orthodontist in town who lives right here in Ridgefield, and my kids go to school here in town.”
If you’re in the area of Girolmetti Court, stop by and say helloto Dr. Langberg, heck, grab a seat at the Internet Cafe and stay awhile.
