It only makes sense that Ridgefield's independent bookseller, Books on the Common, and the Ridgefield Library have joined forces to encourage people to Shop Local!!
Just show your Ridgefield Library card at the register during Thanksgiving weekend {Friday, November 28 (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM); Saturday, November 29 (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM); Sunday, November 30 (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)}, and 15% of the proceeds of your purchase will be donated to the Library.
The 29th is also Small Business Saturday, when shoppers get a rebate on purchases made with an American Express card at participating small retailers including Books on the Common.
